Our hearts dropped when we got the message that my son's dear teacher, Mrs. Abigail Wilson, had cancer.
It is a cliche, but sadly true that cancer doesn't discriminate, and I think we all wanted to do something to make it go away.
Or help.
Or show support & love.
Or all of the above.
Most of you don't know Abigail, and before September, neither did I.
But in the few short months she was my son's teacher I met a woman who embodies what a Kindergarten teacher should be;
kind, smart, loving, funny and compassionate without reserve.
She is lovely, and deserves our support during this fight.
I have never sold out an event in a day and a half, and this is a true testament of peoples' love for Abigail.
This one is for you Abby!
May the positive energy generated this evening bring you strength, happiness and love!
